City Attorney Timothy Meitzen is a graduate of Batesville High School. After receiving a bachelor's degree in political science at the University of Central Arkansas, Meitzen earned his law degree from the University of Arkansas School of Law. He was appointed to serve as the city attorney in Batesville in July of 2015 and operates a private practice located on the third floor of the Municipal Building. He is licensed in the State of Arkansas and admitted to practice in the United States District Courts of Arkansas.
