Residential household garbage is $16.36 plus sales tax per month billed on your monthly water bill. The City of Batesville provides each residence with one trash receptacle. All household garbage is required to be inside the can. If a second receptacle (or more) is required, that can be requested by calling 870-698-2400 ext. 709. There is an additional $8.01 plus sales tax per month for each extra can.
The above map is for residential household garbage only. Special pickups for junk items, leaves or brush are placed on a list by calling Public Works at 870-698-2400 ext. 709 and are picked up as time allows.
Special pickups can also be reported using TextMyGov texting service. This information can be found by clicking the widget on the home page. You must include your address and items to be picked up in the comments.
The City of Batesville does not provide dumpsters for construction waste. Local providers are: The Real Deal of Batesville- can be reached by calling 870-307-1332.
